Make the most of your Jubilee experience in Rome by visiting the sites holding relics attributed to Jesus Christ. The walking tour includes visits of the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem, the Scala Sancta and Saint John in Lateran.
A friendly and knowledgeable tour guide will take you through the streets of Rome with a small group of maximum 15 people.
Tour details:
At the meeting point outside Porta San Giovanni, you will find your guide and meet the other participants. From there, the group will head to the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme.
After admiring the relics of the Passion of Jesus Christ brought to Rome from the Holy Land by Empress Helena, you will then reach the Basilica of Saint John in Lateran, also known as the Arcibasilica.
At a leisurely pace, the tour will continue towards the Scala Sancta, Santa Prassede, and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Final greetings take place by the Esquilino Obelisk.
